Danielle graduated from Stellenbosch University with a business degree and worked in the corporate world for 6 years. She traded in her heels for tekkies and followed her heart to the Karoo where she experimented with making Tequila. This journey led her to establish Dona Distillery with the aim to bring new and exciting spirits to the local and international market.
Samantha Newman
Accounts/Production
Samantha is a unicorn. She manages accounts like a boss AND she keeps an eye on all things production. She comes from a corporate background and decided to make a change and started working at distillery in 2022. Samantha is an amazing baker and spoils the rest of the team with cake on special occasions.
Pulane Mphumela
Production
Pulane has been with Doña since inception. She manages the bottling and labelling line. She is extremely detail orientated and checks every single label before it can be packed. Pulane is usually singing along to the radio and always smiling.
We have an amazing group of young woman that we count on when things get busy -We have been working with these ladies since inception.
